THE RIGHT TREATMENT ALWAYS BEGINS WITH THE RIGHT TESTS.
Your care begins with a thorough examination using the best of technology to determine the course of care. Many of our diagnostic tools are aimed to access the nervous system, since this system controls and coordinates all other systems in the body.
Algometry:
Measures the sensitivity of paraspinal tissues. Previously subjective perceptions can now be accurately quantified, mapped and graphically displayed to assess progress throughout a course of care.

Heart Rate Variability:
Measures the beat-to-beat variation in heart rate. This natural rise and fall of heart rate is caused by several physiologic phenomena, including breathing and autonomic nervous system activity. Healthcare professionals utilize HRV for a wide variety of clinical applications. Chiropractors use HRV to get a window
into how the autonomic nervous system (ANS) modulates heart rate in the baseline or resting state.
Surface Electromyography (SEMG):
This is state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment designed to clearly demonstrate where your spinal nerves may be suffering from nerve interference. Nerve interference is a direct result of subluxation. This scan picks up the electrical activity of the paraspinal musculature, identifying areas of instability and muscle spasm.

The SEMG uses a small electrical signal and infrared thermography to graph the nerve and muscle activity which affect and reflect spinal imbalances. The graph allows us to see beyond the mechanics of the spine. When nerve function is interfered with, a subluxation occurs and as a result, muscles, blood vessels, and organs may malfunction if it is not corrected through Chiropractic care. Now we can produce a detailed computer-generated replica of your nervous system activity. The SEMG and thermal graphs will aid us in determining your course of Chiropractic care as well as tracking your response and progress to that care. This will ensure that you and your family will receive optimal health care through Chiropractic.
Thermography:
This records the amount of heat radiating from
the area surrounding the spine. This essentially measures the distribution of circulation which is controlled by the autonomic nervous system. Your skin is the largest organ of the body and the blood vessels under the skin work as the body’s thermostat. Your body temperature should be at 98.6 degrees consistently. When the communication between your nervous system and your blood vessels is disturbed, it causes the body’s thermostat to malfunction producing an imbalance in the temperature reading along the spine. This may be an indication the presence of Vertebral Subluxation.
